Burnett, in addition to his work at WCVB, continues a rich family legacy of generosity by volunteering with Birthday Wishes, a program dedicated to delivering birthday celebrations to children experiencing homelessness. He has also been a supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH and Maine chapters, serving on their Boards of Directors. Also, he volunteered at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA, where he recorded written works for the blind.
