Duxter, a 2018 graduate from the University of Missouri (M-I-Z!), he began in television working for CBS in Madison, Wis. Furthermore, while in Wisconsin, he married his college sweetheart, who served against him at a competing news station in town. Moreover, a new opportunity for his wife brought the two to Minnesota in October 2021.
Later, after joining the WCCO team in December 2021, he has served to immerse himself in all of the things that make the Twin Cities so special. In addition, he loves exploring the trails of Bloomington and also volunteering with middle school and besides high school students at River Valley Church.
Furthermore, he has joined WCCO, a CBS-owned TV station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he will be covering stories as a general assignment reporter. Next month his wife and him will move to the Twin Cities, where she’s accepted a new job outside of the news business. 3.5 years ago he visited Wisconsin for the first time. he was a (very) nervous 21 year old looking for his first job out of college, and he was about to have one of the most important conversations of his life.
As he sat with his soon to be boss Colin Benedict, he explained his situation. Yes, he was looking for a job, but he was also trying to do everything in his power to be in the same city as the woman he dreamed of marrying. Through the grace of God, two months later Caroline and him were working for competing stations in the same market.
