Keegan was first recognized in 1994 for his performance of teen Zack Dell in the film Camp Nowhere. Moreover, in the television series Full House, he played a love interest for Stephanie Tanner for an episode and was also a cast in a minor role in the 1996 film Independence Day. in 1994, before being cast on the TV drama Party of Five, he had guest parts of numerous television shows.

Keegan founded Full Circle in 2014, a community spiritual center based in Venice, Los Angeles. While other outlets called the organization a cult, Vice characterized it as a ‘new religion’. He described the group as a ‘non-denominational spiritual community center’. He further elaborated that people of all beliefs and backgrounds come together to meditate, engage artistically, and practice yoga.

In addition, in March 2015, New York Magazine reported that the organization seems to loosely follow Hinduism.  The magazine further stated it seemed like Rusell Brand’s Sanskrit-tattoo version of it. Also, the magazine reported that the actual theology of the group is tough to pin down. In May 2015, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control officers raided The Full Circle. Additionally, the distribution of kombucha, a fermented beverage made from sweet black tea was the reason for the raid. A spokesperson for the temple revealed that they were unaware they needed a license to distribute kombucha. However, in June 2017, the organization closed.
