In June of 2013, Antonio joined the NewsCenter 5 team. She’s been fortunate enough to cover victory parades for three Patriots Super Bowl victories as well as two Red Sox World Series victories since moving to Boston.

Antonio previously worked as a morning anchor and reporter for KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She covered everything from wildfires to floods to snowstorms and even hot air balloon crashes while living in Albuquerque for about seven years. She also interviewed Barack Obama during his presidential campaign.

She was a team Breaking News award winner from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association. If you watch the TV show “Breaking Bad,” you might recognize Antoinette from her appearances as a “News Anchor” in two episodes. It was quite a stretch!

Antonio began her broadcast career at KWES Midland/Odessa, Texas, as a morning news anchor and reporter. She won awards for anchoring, general assignment reporting, and sports reporting during her time there.
