Born in Boston and raised in Orlando, Arei Moon is an American singer who became well known as a contestant on season 18 of The Voice.

Arei Moon Music Career
Moon revealed that she started singing at block parties thrown by her mother’s company and she loved it. She eventually had her first professional gig when she was 12 years old.
Among her first performances was opening for LL Cool J and Trina at The Strand Theatre in Boston, Mass.
Moon would later on land a gig as the lead female vocalist at the BB King Blues Club in Orlando, Fla., where she played for two years. They would perform four to five nights a week and she says the role and experience helped prepare her for The Voice,
In 2019, Moon e released her first two singles, “Like What You Doin’” in June and “Young Luve” in August.
Arei Moon The Voice
During her audition on The Voice, Moon sang “Miss Independent” by Kelly Clarkson. She received three chair turns from Nick, Kelly, and John. Nick Jonas turned within the first few lines she sang and blocked Kelly Clarkson.
John Legend told her that she electrified the whole room while Nick said that two notes were all he needed to hear to decide to use his block against Kelly. She joined team Nick Jonas.
