Straight out of college, Kroll spent a little more than a year and a half as a banquet server for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Bachelor Gulch, Colorado. In 2012 Kroll snagged his first job in the craft beer industry as a bar manager at Roast Public House in Madison, Wisconsin.
He moved back south to Charleston, South Carolina to work as a cellarman at the Palmetto Brewing Company. In 2016 Kroll became the territory sales manager for Red Hare Brewing Company, an independent microbrewery based in Marietta, Georgia. In addition, he was cast in the fourth season of “Southern Charm” alongside his close friend Shep Rose.
