In 1979, Carraro became the first mate of Sea Fox from Atlantic Highland. By the time he turned 20 years old, he had already obtained a captain’s license. Carraro holds a USCG 100-ton Masters License.
He has over 30 years of experience in fishing. He is also a pilot and is the captain of E190 for Jet Blue Airways Corporation.
