Castiglione joined WCVB in January 2018 as a weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter, coming from WNYW Fox 5 in New York, where he was a sports anchor and host of the Sunday night program “Sports Extra.” He has covered multiple Super Bowls and World Series, as well as hosting numerous television and radio sports programs and special events. Previously, he worked as a sports reporter for Boston’s WHDH.

He worked for ESPN as a sideline reporter for Major League Baseball and College Football events. Before that, Castiglione was the morning sports anchor and reporter for New York’s WCBS-TV, as well as the host of NY1’s live call-in program “Sports on 1.” He won an Associated Press Award for “Best Sports Show.” Castiglione started his news career in New England, first at Cape 11 News in Hyannis, MA, and later at WGGB News in Springfield, MA.
