At the time of her tenure, she covered major news stories on the ground, including the Las Vegas shooting and Hurricane Irma in Florida in 2017.
Previously, Hill used to co-anchor NBC’s weekend edition of TODAY and worked as an anchor and correspondent for NBC News, contributing to TODAY, NBC Nightly News, and MSNBC. Also, she worked as an anchor and correspondent for CBS News before joining NBC.
Hill began her career as an anchor and technology correspondent for CNN and HLN in 2003. However, she was named co-anchor of Prime News in 2005, as part of the network’s Headline Prime launch. Also, she hosted nightly news updates for CNN’s prime-time shows, including Anderson Cooper 360° (AC360°). She began working full-time at AC360 in early 2008.
Hill began her career as a production assistant for the former cable network ZDTV / TechTV, quickly rising to the position of the producer before becoming an anchor and reporter for the network.
