Jem goes on and sits with her parents to finish eating their food. She is meant to join college and that s their last weekend together before she leaves.
As she and her parents are leaving Freez’n Over to go to their vacation house, they do not notice that someone in the parking lot is watching them. While at the vacation house, as the family is about to have dinner, they are approached by three masked men who capture Jem’s parents. Daryl and Cait. Jem manages to hide.
Jem is killed while trying to fight the three masked men who two of them are recognized as Mitch and Jack. Her death is, however, accidental. Both of her parents are killed too.
