Jaida Essence Hall whose real name is Jared Johnson is an American drag artist. She is a contestant on Season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
After getting in drag, her friend called her Jaida and that’s how she came up with her first stage name. The other name Essence came by through her boyfriend who told her she was ‘the essence of beauty.’ Jaida’s last name ‘Hall’ comes from her mother, Tajma Hall. Her name can be read as ‘Jaida Essential.’
