She previously served as White House Communications Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign from 2013 to 2015.

Jennifer Palmieri Family and Ethnicity

Palmieri has three sisters and unfortunately, one of her them named Dana passed away after battling Alzheimer’s. Her father was a naval officer stationed in Mississippi at the time of her birth whereas her mother was a campaigner for Trent Lott when Jennifer was a child.  Her parents were Republicans until they switched to Democrats to support Bill Clinton in 1993. Jennifer is of Italian ethnicity.

Palmieri is currently a co-host of the Showtime political documentary series, The Curse. She previously served as a White House Communications Director (2013-2016) during Hillary Clinton’s presidential Campaigns. Prior to her service in the White House, she served as the President of the Center for American Progress Action Fund.

Jennifer also served as the National Press Secretary for the 2004 John Edwards presidential campaigns and Deputy White House Press Secretary.

Her first job after college was working for then-Congressman Leon Panetta on Capitol Hill.

Controversy: WikiLeaks

The media personality attracted controversy when WikiLeaks released a chain of an email allegedly showing Jennifer and other Clinton aides during her presidential campaigns joking about Catholics and evangelicals. An investigation by the U.S Intelligence concluded that individuals with connections to the Russian government had spear-phished an attack against Clinton campaign chair John Podesta as part of an operation to prevent Hillary Clinton from winning the 2016 United States presidential election.
