However, in 2004, she went to join Dave in Arkansas to help him develop his own business after having worked for a while. She tried her hands into designing and started working with her husband while continuing her job after the business was set up under the name Marrs Developing. She joined as a designer full-time in 2012. Building unique and custom furniture with local artists, they have been successfully been running the business.
The couple started their blueberry farm to help children in Zimbabwe. Additionally, in their backyard, they raise sheep and goats.
