Wang has been working as an anchor and reporter for KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, WAOW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin, Mississippi, WTZH-TV in Meridian, and KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. Furthermore, she started her television career, after her studies in ballet, tap and jazz.
“Gina’s Journey”, was her 1997 documentary, about a teenage girl fighting with aids, received the CLTV Second Place Award from the National Association of Press Photographers for Best Documentary.
