To purchase the nine houses that the teams will be rehabbing throughout the six episodes, the Corsini’s spent two million dollars of their own money. The overhauls are hefty and a release from HGTV notes that the budgets are sometimes surpassing $90,000 per project.
Anita said in a release that this was the ultimate job interview. ken added that they want the competitors to fight hard for the chance to join their successful business. Similarly, he said that they need to make sure they have what it takes to be a part of their brand that worked so hard to build.
The tree team competitors are experienced in real estate and renovation hence arent first-time flippers. They know how to make it work when plans change and how to handle the stress when things go awry and hopefully bring in top dollar for their efforts.
