Parijita Bastola is a Nepalese-American singer and songwriter. She is widely known for participating in season 22 of the NBC reality singing competition show The Voice. In addition, the show is mentored by Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Camila Cabello.

Parijita Bastola Band
Bastola is the vocalist for the band Bastola, named after her. In addition, the band was recently selected to perform at the 2022 International Blues Challenge. Moreover, the band members are – Parijita, Jesse Kegley, Dylan Hood, Jack Slote, and Bennett Terhunt who came together in early 2020, according to Severna Park Voice.
Additionally, some of the songs the band covers are by Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, and Rihanna. Moreover, Bastola said that it is in order to refresh and incorporate blues into the next generation. She also said that they wanted to make it enjoyable for other people what blues can sound like and what blues can look like.
Parijita has also done solo performances. Moreover, she performed the national anthem and did a cover of Adele’s All I Ask at the Nepal American Community Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

Bastola is one of the contestants in the 22nd season of the NBC reality singing competition The Voice. The show is mentored by judges Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Camila Cabello. In addition, the show premiered on September 19, 2022, at 8 pm ET.
Moreover, for her auditions, Parijita performed a stunning rendition of Labrinth’s hit “Jealous.” Additionally, Legend was the first to turn his chair, followed quickly by Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani. Eventually, Blake also turned his chair. Furthermore, Camila said, “that was probably my favorite that anybody has sung so far.” Moreover, she also said that the way Bastola crafted the cover was “masterful.” Additionally, Parijita said that she definitely likes to incorporate her Nepalese heritage into her singing and her music.
In addition, she also revealed that The Voice has always been the show that her family watches together. Furthermore, the family specifically closed their restaurant on Mondays so they could watch The Voice. Moreover, Bastola becomes the first Nepalese-American contestant. Moreover, she chose to join Team Legend.
