Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, actress, and comedian. She is known for her role as a co-host of CBS’s daytime talk showThe Talk, alongside Amanda Kloots and Sharon Osbourne. The comedienne was the first female to grace the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1998. Underwood also worked with Queen Latifah on the black comedy, Beauty Shop (2005) and won the BET Funniest Female Comedienne on Comic View Award (1994). She appeared in the I Got the Hookup (1998) film. Sheryl served in the Army as a reserve for two years after her college graduation. The comedian founded the African-American Female Comedienne Association.
