Tom Colicchio (born Thomas Patrick Colicchio) is an American celebrity chef. The chef co-founded the Gramercy Tavern in New York City. In addition, he formerly served as a co-owner and as the executive chef. The chef is also the founder of Crafted Hospitality, which includes Craft, Riverpark, Temple Court, Craftsteak, Heritage Steak, and Small Batch restaurants.

Colicchio served a sous-chef to Thomas Keller at Rakel in the mid-1980s.
Moreover, in July 1994, the chef and his partner Danny Meyer opened the Gramercy Tavern in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. Moreover, the tavern was voted the Most Popular Restaurant in New York City by the Zagat Survey in 200 and 2005. However, he is no longer affiliated with the restaurant as he sold his interest in 2006. Additionally, in spring 2001, Colicchio opened the first Craft restaurant one block south of Gramercy Tavern. A year later, the chef opened the first Craftsteak at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. In 2003, the chef began the first ‘wichcraft, his sandwich shop. Moreover, the chef opened Colicchio & Sons in 2010 and also Riverpark. Moreover, shortly after the September attacks, he joined volunteers serving food rescue workers at Ground Zero.
Furthermore, he has written three cookbooks. Moreover, he also appeared in the documentary film A Place at the Table.
Furthermore, he serves on the Food Council at City Harvest and the Culinary Council at Food Bank for New York City, two hunger-relief organizations.
Television
The chef has been involved with Top Chef since its beginning in 2006, where he has served as head judge. Colicchiomis also the main consulting producer on Bravo’s Top Chef spinoff series entitled Top Chef Masters.
Moreover, he was the host of the reality series Best New Restaurant in 2015.
Furthermore, the chef appeared in the fifth episode of the first season of HBO’s Treme. Colicchio made another cameo in season 2.
