In the season finale of the 15th season of the reality television series Project Runway in December 2016, Zendaya appeared as a guest judge. Moreover, in the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming released in July 2017, she made her feature film debut. The film ranked number one at the box office in its first weekend grossing $117 million. She co-starred in the original musical film The Greatest Showman in December. Warner Bros. released the animated film Small front with Zendaya voicing the yeti Meechee in September 2018.
Moreover, she starred in the HBO drama series Euphoria in June 2019 as Rue. Also, she starred in Malcolm & Marie in 2021 during the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
