John Boyega Biography
Born John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega and professionally known as John Boyega, is a British-Nigerian actor and producer. He is best known for his role in Attack the Block (2011). In addition, he is also famous for his role in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

Prior to being offered a role in the 2011 film Attack the Block, Boyega trained at the Identity School of Acting in Hackney and appeared in Six Parties at the National Theatre. Also, he trained Category B at the Tricycle Theatre. He was cast in the boxing drama pilot Da Brick. Moreover, he acted in the film Junkhearts in 2011.
Moreover, he also appeared in UK Stars of Tomorrow 2011. He was cast in the film adaptation of Half of a Yellow Sun in March 2012. Additionally, he was cast as a major character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He starred in Detroit in 2017. Additionally, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, he reprised his role. He formed Upperroom Entertainment Limited, his own production company, in January 2016. In the miniseries Small Axe, he was cast.
Furthermore, he was listed in the Top 100 of the most influential people in the UK of African/African-Caribbean descent in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Powerlist. However, when he unexpectedly walked out mid-production due to family issues, he had been filming the Netflix film, Rebel Ridge. His production company Upperroom set a first-look deal with VIS Kids most recently.
