Why did Caleb Kennedy Leave American Idol 2021
Kennedy was among the Top five contestants who were set to battle it out for the top three contestants of the American Idol 2021. However, that did not happen because he did not appear for the competition which would have seen him among the finalists. He dropped out of the competition after a Snapchat post of him (besides someone else) resurfaced where he seemed to be wearing a Ku Klux Klan (kkk) hood. Commenting on the issue, his mother Anita Guy, said that the video was taken when he was 12 years old after he had watched The Strangers: Prey at Night movie” and they were imitating those characters.” She added that: “Caleb doesn’t have a racist bone in his body.”
