Loresca began her career in Los Angeles as a news associate at KCBS-TV. She was responsible for the assembly of scripts and teleprompter operation during the newscasts.
She later moved to KGET-TV in Bakersfield, California, where she worked as the noon weather anchor and assignment editor from 2001 to August 2002. In the year 2002, after leaving KE=GET-TV, Loresca moved KGPE-TV in Fresno, California. She served as the morning and noon weather anchor.
In 2004 Loresco moved to WSVN Miami and on her first day at the station, she started forecasting the 2004 hurricane season with Hurricane Frances. That was one of the most devastating hurricanes that she covered. The other one was in 2005, where she contributed reports for her station from the National Hurricane Center during Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, and Hurricane Wilma.
Loresca is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and The National Alliance to Nurture the Aged and the Youth (NANAY), a non-profit Filipino organization.
