Saladna also received two Emmy Awards in 2017, one for Continuous Coverage and the other for her reporting on the “Taunton Rampage” story, which helped WCVB win the prized Best Newscast title. She has been nominated three times for Emmy Awards for Individual Achievement for her work as a news anchor, and she won the award in 2001. She was nominated for six Emmys by the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her reporting and anchoring work while at WGAL. She’s also the recipient of a number of Associated Press Awards.

Saladna was the co-anchor of WGAL-5:30 TV’s p.m. and 11 p.m. weekday newscasts before joining Channel 5 in September 1999. Hearst Television is the owner of both WGAL and WCVB.
