Don Granger Producing Career
Granger began his career as a producer in 1987 after he joined Weintraub Entertainment Group. He later joined Touchstone Pictures in 1988 and in 1990, Granger joined Paramount Pictures. At Paramount Pictures, he worked as executive VP of production and overseeing till 2001.
Granger went on and joined Gary Levinsohn in 2001, to work in the production company Mutual Film Company together. This was after the company’s co-founder Mark Gordon left. Granger executive produced the film Timeline and produced Snakes on a Plane for the company.
He joined Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner’s Cruise/Wagner Productions as a senior executive of development and production in 2004. He produced the film The Eye while at the company.
Later in 2007, he joined the United Artists as a prexy of production and in 2014, he joined the Skydance Productions as the newly created post EVP Feature Productions. He would report to Dana Goldberg, company’s chief creative officer.
