Jackée Harry is an American television personality, comedian and actress. Her real name is Jacqueline Yvonne Harry. However, she is well known for her starring roles as Lisa Landry on the ABC/The WB sitcom Sister, Sister (1994–1999) and as Sandra Clark, the nemesis of Mary Jenkins (played by Marla Gibbs), on the NBC TV series 227 (1985–1990).Furthermore, she is known as the first and only African-American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Besides, she starred in the 1992 film Ladybugs, opposite Rodney Dangerfield. Harry has as well played Paulina Price on the NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives since March 2021.

In addition, she was a star in many musicals and was quite active in her profession, and also appeared in several different shows, such as “Lady Day” and “the Boys from Syracuse.” A Christmas Carol, Damn Yankees, The Sunshine Boys, and the Clean-up Woman are a few other plays.
She has performed in several television roles. Additionally, she played Lily Mason in the first film Another World from 1983 to 1986. Later she was given the opportunity to play Sandra Clark on the NBC sitcom 227, her mother was ecstatic. On a sad note, her mother passed away prior to the program was broadcast.
The NBC producers formed the television pilot Jackee as a result of her outstanding efforts. After serving for a while, she quited her job at NBC 227 and went to work with Oprah Winfrey at the Women of Brewster Place. Furthermore, this increased the audience’s popularity with her name. Besides, she has had a variety of parts in films, such as The Royal Family, VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club 2, and To Tell the Truth.
