At five months of age, Shipka made her television debut on the hospital drama ER. When she was a baby, she began doing commercial-print modeling. Her first major role was as Sally Draper on the 2007-2015 TV series Mad Men after undertaking numerous small television roles. She became a series regular in season four but was a recurring guest star for the show’s first three seasons.
